The uneven twill employed in the Works collection - smoother than the traditional one - is called Broken Twill and it was originally invented for jeans. This fabric is often-used in the workwear field too, because of its durability counter balanced by its smoothness. Most vulcanised shoes are made from classic canvas, but the Broken Twill gifts the Works range with a similar durability and an elegant look.
